Wherefore Spring?
Ottawa is a snow-blighted hellscape and it is impossible to get anywhere. I have just turned around from what should be a 15-minute walk to the library because there was snow up to my knees. Winter, you may stay if you stop trying to bury us alive. But if you carry on, then I am afraid we are going to have to ask you to leave.

I've been watching the frozen wasteland from my window...haven't left the apartment since friday morning lol. Heard on the radio this morning that Ottawa has received 407.7 cm of snow this winter, 50 cm of that in the last 36 hours or so. The highest on record is 444.1 cm....might not be long before we break it :S

I can think of something else I'd like to break. Winter's knee caps.
